I love the weekends!

Mike the girls and I had a great weekend! Saturday morning
we took the girls to "Aggie Days", it's an event down at the
Stampede grounds in the BMO Centre and it had a bunch of fun
things for the girls to see and do. Farm animals, cow milking,
sheep sheering and much more!
We got there right when it opened so the girls really got to enjoy
everything before it got to crowded. They made all the animal sounds
each time we saw a new animal lol, too funny.
They also saw big mascots for the first time and they were absolutely terrified! Every time one of the mascots would come up and say hi to the
girls they would run in the opposite direction yelling "buh bye, buh bye".
Other then that they had a great time!

Sunday, it was SO nice out we played outside for the majority of the day
and went over to my parents for dinner for my brothers birthday!

On a side note, this is the first year Ill be doing gardening in the new house, I have no idea what I'm doing and it clearly showed this weekend as I dug up all the "perennials" that the previous owner had planted, thinking they were
weeds. lol. I need some gardening lessons, quick!

Anyways here are some cute pictures of the girls this weekend.

Terrible Two's!

Anytime I ever heard someone say "the terrible two's" I always thought it cant be that bad..
I was so wrong! The girls are going through a terrible two phase right now
and it is by far the hardest stage we've been through. They are lucky they are so cute :)
If the biting would just stop completely I would be a lot happier!

On a good note, they are starting to talk a lot more so I'm hoping that helps stop
with the biting when they can communicate better when they get frustrated.
They are also to starting to play with each other much better, it's so cute, they give each other hugs and kisses now and tell each other they love each other.

This is from Easter :)

Easter Fun!

We had such a fun Easter this year! Not only was it a long weekend, Mike's Mom was here for a visit and I had an extra day off. Mike and I got to spend a lot of alone time which we really needed. Thursday we went out for dinner, Friday we went to a movie, and Saturday we went out for a friends birthday. It was so nice to have some adult time with my hubby :)

I hosted Easter dinner this year, first time I've really hosted a holiday dinner so I was a little nervous. My parents came over with my brothers and then Mike's mom and us. Everyone said dinner was great so that was a good sign haha. The girls got spoiled as usual. Nana got them each a tricycle, and some cute new clothes. Watching them on the trikes is hilarious, they don't quite get it yet but will very soon. So cute. We also had an Easter Egg hunt, which was so funny. The girls both were overly excited and every time they would bend down to pick up a new treat they'd find all the ones in their bucket would fall out lol, everyone had a good laugh watching them.

This past weekend the girls have all of a sudden became little parrots. They are talking SO much now. I love hearing them try and pronounce words, just to adorable. They've really changed over the past few days. A good change too, I'm really loving this stage :)

Of course here are some pictures from this weekend. I will post some more of Mike and I with the girls soon :)

Spring is in the air!

I really love when the seasons change, but especially when they change to the warmer seasons!
The girls absolutely love going outside, lately we've been trying to take them to the
park everyday or every other day and they just love it, we also pick them up from daycare in their
wagon, which they think is pretty cool.

This past weekend we took the girls to a few places. Saturday morning started off with us
taking the girls to Canadian Tire lol. Mike took Avery and I had Kennedy.
They loved just walking around and exploring, it was pretty funny. Oh and
Mike got what he was looking for as well.
Then we took the girls over to an indoor play centre called Tommy K Play.
I'd say they're still a little young for it but Mike and I climbed right through all the tunnels and mazes with them. I think their favourite one of all was the big slide. Their giggles didn't stop.
Needless to say we had a great weekend and the girls had allot of fun.

I can't wait until all the fun outdoor places open for us to take the girls to. We've been thinking
of getting a season pass to Heritage Park and I think the girls would thoroughly enjoy that this summer.

With Easter right around the corner I went out yesterday and got a few more things
for the girls and also for the Easter dinner we are hosting this year. I'm so excited to
see the girls faces after the Easter Bunny has come and for them to search for their
Easter eggs! Mike's mom is coming out for a visit over Easter, it will be
really nice having her stay with us and for the girls to see her, they love
having company stay over :)

One last thing, basement update! We finally FINALLY found a well priced taper and muder to
finish the basement up and that will be done by the end of this week. That means next weekend
Mike and I will be able to paint, yay :)

I'm adding some pictures of the girls again. I take so many pictures of them and tend to forget to take picture WITH them lol.
