Basement Reno, Visits...

So last Tuesday Mike's dad got into town to help us develop our basement, he's been working very hard to get as much done as possible before he leaves this afternoon. It's so nice having not only a husband that is a handy man but also a father in law! :) Here is the progress of the basement, all the drywall has been put up, and most of it has been taped and mudded, we are getting an outside source to finish the rest of that, the carpet has been ordered and will be installed by someone, and we have picked out paint colours! Mike and his buddy will be doing the ceiling, a drop ceiling. Mike and decided it would be fun to paint the basement together, so I'm looking forward to that! It's going to be so nice to have another living space to have! Oh yeah, and Mike has bought his 50" TV for his "man cave" as well lol.

It's been so nice having Mike's dad here tho, the girls now say Papa and are quite drawn to him, it's pretty cute, we will miss Papa, and we thank him so much for all he's done this past week and a half!

Totally off topic now, but everyone is starting to ask Mike and I when we will start trying for another baby. Let me clear this up ha ha, IF we plan for another baby it won't be until the girls are at LEAST 4. Right now I can't even imagine having another baby, let alone being pregnant ha ha. And the fact we are at a high risk of having another set of twins kind of scares me all together. Although it would be pretty cool, and hey we've done it once right? Anyways that is the answer to all the people wondering when :)

What an awesome weekend!

We had such a great weekend! Friday Mike and I had a long

over due date night to the Flames Game, and Saturday morning

we went out a bought a new vehicle! lol. Now I had

no intentions of buying it that day. Just thought we'd go look

price a few out and be on our merry way. Usually I'm the one

that will want something right then and there and Mike usually wants to think

about it before rushing into something...not this time! Mike was all

for it right away. Yay for us..we got a 2012 Dodge Journey!

And we pick it up tonight :) Can't wait.

After we bought the new car we went and picked the girls up from my parents house

and took them to the park when we got home.

The girls absolutely LOVE it outside.

Another exciting thing that has happened is the girls got their very first haircuts!

It's adorable, and they sat pretty well considering lol..here are the "after" pics.

Time for a Catch up..

Well I officially feel like a bad blogger lol.

I've been busy tho so that is my excuse..lame I know.

So once the girls finally got over their horrible sickness they both had

that seemed like it woudl NEVER end..

we all got back into our routine having Daddy home again!

It's so nice having things back to normal.

The girls have officially started full time at their new daycare and it's still a

transition period for them (more so Kennedy) but they'll get the hang of it :)

So every week at daycare the girls have one day they bring a snack for all the kids.

Today was Avery's day and this is what she brought...cute hey!

Butterfly snack, one side goldfish the other grapes :)..Mike helped me stuff all the little bags..hehe

So in 3 months I am going to have TWO, 2 year olds! I can't believe it.

Early I know, but I have already planned out their entire birthday party and

I really can't wait for it to all come together! I must say, I've come up with some pretty

cute ideas..and the theme of course is SESAME STREET!
